The Puzzle

One day as I was sorting a box, I came across a small Chinese puzzle and tried to piece it together. No matter what I did I just couldn’t get it fixed. Frustrated, I put it aside and forgot about it as I continued sorting. When I reached the bottom of the box I found three more pieces of the puzzle. It finally made sense why I couldn’t figure it out and I felt silly for getting so frustrated afterwards.

Sometimes, in our Christian walk, we get frustrated when it seems that things aren’t coming together quite the way we expected. We’re trying to figure out how to fix something ourselves, but we don’t consider that maybe God has not revealed all the pieces yet.

Just when I gave up, the pieces were revealed.

My encouragement to the one reading this comes from a verse that my pastor delivered this Sunday in his message:

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths”

So let Jesus work it out for you and He’ll reveal everything in due time.

Shalom!
