Unfiltered, Unmerited, Goodness

Matthew 5:45(b)
…sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Romans 2:4
or the riches of His goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, dost thou despise? -- not knowing that the goodness of God doth lead thee to reformation! (YLT)
Do the riches of his extraordinary kindness make you take him for granted and despise him? Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding he has been to you? Don’t mistake his tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of his extravagant kindness is meant to melt your heart and lead you into repentance? (TPT)

The abounding kindness and forever enduring patience of God does not discriminate. His exceeding and boundless goodness is why God causes rain to fall on the just and unjust. He sees all as needing His goodness and thus, showers all of us with goodness.
