The View

Overlooking my balcony is what I like to call, a mini forest. Many days and nights I have spent admiring God’s handiwork. One day, I decided to leave the awesomeness of my view and venture down below. Let me tell you, it was a feeling I would never forget.

All of a sudden I felt small, overwhelmed and insignificant. The trees seemed to be closing in on me and looked enormous. The bush below my feet was a lot taller than I expected and soon enough, I hurried back to my balcony where I felt more in control and safe.

Did the trees or bush suddenly grow within seconds? NO! What happened?
I changed my view.

Brethren, when we take our eyes off Jesus, the challenges/trials overwhelm us. We no longer feel confident, hopeful to trust God to bring us through.

Remember Child of God, you are seated in Heavenly Places (Ephesians 2:6) where we are blessed with ALL spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3). So don’t trade the view and position God has placed you in, for the twisted, discouraging and lying view that the world offers.

Don’t even try it out!
Keep your eyes on Jesus and stay with His View.

Shalom.
