I will lift up mine eyes
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
These two verses taken from Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV) contain all of the instruction you need to face your day.
First thing it tells us is to look up. When we look down we are aware of all the problems, issues, circumstances and situations that surround us. In contrast, the more we look to Jesus, the less of those things we can focus on.
As we look up towards the hills (heaven and all that is contained in it for us through Christ), we then see that we have solutions available to us for every problem, issue, circumstance and situation that seeks to overrun us.
What is more reassuring is that our help is not coming from a limited source, but it is originating from the creator of heaven and earth, which includes you. Today God has tailor-made answers to every question that you have and a specific resolution to each challenge.
Right now as you read this, don’t be afraid, rather LOOK UP! See Jesus and all of the help that you need will be made available to you.
