You are worth it
Every day we are assailed with images and words telling us we don’t quite meet a certain criteria to be the best. It’s like the more you improve, the more shortcomings you become aware of.
God provides an interesting counterpoint which we often overlook.
Romans 5:6-8 (KJV) – 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Simply put, God chose you when you were unlovable. God chose you when you were voted least likely to succeed.
Your life may not be looking how you want it to look or how you’ve been told it should look, but always remember there is one person who thinks you are worth it.
