Spirit Brunch

Okay; so you woke up this morning a few minutes later than you had planned, you forgot you had that meeting first thing, but the kids still have to get to school. Or maybe you have to catch the bus and with how things are you know if you miss one you might not get another for hours. You bathe in a rush, make breakfast, and try to finish dressing and eating at the same time as you run through the door. All very breathless stuff isn’t it.

Then you remember, I didn’t even read a verse this morning. You get that sinking feeling that you broke your routine and now the day doesn’t feel quite right.

This is the beauty of relationship. In that moment instead of condemning yourself pick up the word. If you’re reading this, you may have experienced just the morning I spoke about. Don’t dwell on all that went wrong. Make it right NOW! Take a moment to read a verse and pray to God. If you don’t have your Bible with, you here’s one:

Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) – The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Partake wherever, whenever. You’re never too late to talk to Abba.Trust the mercy and faithfulness of Jesus. His love isn’t afraid of a missed moment. Commune with God right where you are, it will supercharge your day.

Shalom!
