Praise the Lord!
It is amazing how often we are reminded to Praise the Lord.
Here are a few verses that encourages us to do so.
Psalm 112:1 King James Version (KJV) Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Psalm 113:1.(KJV). Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
(Psalm 75:1) We proclaim how great you are and tell of the wonderful things you have done.
1 Chronicles 16:28 Praise the Lord, all people on earth, praise his glory and might.
Daniel 2:20 (KJV). God is wise and powerful! Praise him forever and ever.
Jeremiah 20:13 (KJV) Sing to the LORD! Praise the LORD! He rescues the oppressed from the power of evil people.
Ephesians 1:5 (KJV). Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son!
Deuteronomy 10:21 (KJV) Praise him—he is your God, and you have seen with your own eyes the great and astounding things that he has done for you.
Let us examine these verses and glean from them reasons why we need to praise the Lord.
- That we can delight in His Words [commands; sayings; instructions; wisdom]
- That we are in His service
- We praise Him because He is great
- He has done many wonderful things
- For His glory and His might
- For His wisdom and power
- He rescues the oppressed people
- For the Gift of His Son Jesus
- For His grace
- We praise Him because He is God
We have every reason to praise the Lord. Let us Praise His Name.
