Good Morning!

I want to declare God’s peace over you, every new day that dawns is a great testimony to God’s love and concern for humanity. Despite all we see happening in the world, God’s mighty hand continues to  uphold everything.

So today, we want to rest in His love. So as we begin this new day, and a new and fresh start, I want to us to focus on His rest.  We want to rest in the truth of  Psalm 86:13.

Psalm 86:13, Young’s Literal Translation (YLT)

¹³ For Thy kindness [is] great toward me, And Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

Did you hear that? Wow! “Great is your love toward me.” You already see the ways I will fall short and mess up. But right now, I can consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for me into the deepest part of my heart. Hallelujah!  I recognize Your love for me is not based on my performance. You love me warts, shortcomings and all. That’s amazing. Because it is through Your love that I will be able overcome every challenge. But what’s most amazing is that the Savior of the world would desire a few minutes with me this morning. Lord, help me to forever remember what a gift it is to sit with You like this.

I know my day will not be just average, but amazing, because You Lord will show me your kindness.
