It’s in your mouth

Colossians 4:6Amplified Bible (AMP)

Let your speech at all times be gracious and pleasant, seasoned with salt, so that you will know how to answer each one [who questions you].

Paul also uses the word ‘seasoned’; as having had salt, pepper, herbs, or spices
added. Is that the way we are in our speech? Or is every conversation loaded with unseasoned blends of thoughts, and silly talk, course words, unpleasant words, that make you want to vomit?

On the other hand is our only aim an objective in speaking to pull down, criticize or malign other persons?

Colossians 3:16 AMP. Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts.

Season your words with the flavor of Grace today.
